Iran has one of the richest art heritages in world history and encompasses many disciplines including architecture, painting, pottery, calligraphy, metalworking and stonemasonry. ‌ But for far too long, the world has only seen Iran through the lens of politics, sanctions, and history leaving out the realities of its arts, life, people and places from the conversation altogether.

Iran Unveiled is a collective photo project by 9 artists which aims to show the world a different side of the country that went on display in a San Francisco exhibit on September 17th of 2017.
